A Working Ranch

Boulder Creek Ranch is home to the luckiest horses, goats, ducks, chickens and cattle on the planet. They roam free, greeting guests and making new friends. Our animals are happy to tag along on your hike or keep you company under the tall pines. Ranch guests are welcome to watch — or even help — as we go about daily chores: currying horses, chasing cows, planting pine trees, fixing fence, feeding the chickens…

You can learn how we run our 1955 Boulder Creek Ranch fire truck… or take a short hike up Big Boulder Creek to see the work that is helping build a better place for wild salmon and steelhead.

Or you can just use the cabin for a restful respite as you explore off the ranch property, in the scenic Blue Mountains.

A note about your safety… Please abide by rules posted in the cabin. These are for the comfort and safety of both you and the ranch residents (animals and people). A ranch has inherent dangers and we will do our best to point out the obvious ones; however, guests will hold harmless Boulder Creek Ranch from all claims, suits or action of any nature arising out of activities of the renting party.
